Job Description:Are you ready to be a catalyst for change? The County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an Inmate Rehabilitation Director to lead the charge in transforming lives within the Rehabilitation and Custodial Alternatives Division. Under the guidance of the Sheriff, Under sheriff, and Assistant Sheriff, the Inmate Rehabilitation Director will be required to develop a strategic plan, which includes; the expansion of in-custody rehabilitation, vocational, and educational programs and services, the formation of comprehensive out-of-custody programs and services, and the expansion of the collegecollaborativeprogram.
Required Background and
Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration of Justice, Behavioral Science, Sociology, Psychology, Criminology or closely related field and three (3) years of management experience in a civilian or governmental law enforcement agency, directing or overseeing the delivery of services and functions of a law and justice rehabilitation programs which included at least one (1) year of full supervisory experience.
