Inspection Administrator Job in Doncaster at Ardagh Group –

Ardagh Glass is a critical worker business and has proudly operated continuously throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Doncaster business unit has manufactured glass containers since 1968 and is part of a leading supplier in glass packaging solutions for the world’s leading brands.
Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking to recruit an Inspection Administrator based in the Inspection department. This key role is responsible for the administration of the Inspection paperwork and assists in the day to day operation of the PWA department.
Responsibilities:
Health and Safety for them self and fellow work colleagues
Preparing pallet tickets
Identify container quality problems during an audit and report to the relevant personnel
Container impact testing and capacity determination
Maintain accurate records, adhering to company standards and procedures
Support and assist the PWA and Calibration department as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
Attention to detail, able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
The commitment to undergo audit training
The ability to operate and use measuring equipment
The capability to follow company policy and procedures
IT/Computer skills and able to record data accurately
The confidence to communicate to all levels of the team within the plant
A commitment towards continuous improvement, with a flexible attitude
The desire to demonstrate the company core values at all time
What we offer:
The salary is based on the Ardagh Glass grading structure, this role is a Grade 5. The current minimum increment being £24,769, working towards the maximum of the grade currently £30,371. This does not include overtime payments.
Typical hours of work being Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Holiday entitlement – 25 days per year plus the 8 statutory bank holidays
