Position Overview
Employee Benefits Insurance Placement Specialist – Chicago, IL
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update RFP spreadsheets, including review and revisions.
- Collect and spread quotes from carriers, responding to carrier inquiries.
- Request renewals and participate in pre‑renewal meetings.
- Prepare and provide compensation statements.
- Reach out to clients for Business Associate Agreements and Enrollment Agreements, following up as needed.
- Collect Schedule A documents, submit information to vendors, and ensure filings are completed for each client.
- Gather membership data for PCORI fees, calculate fees, and send the information to clients.
- Act as liaison between the company’s legal department and the Oak Brook office.
- Send compliance updates to the office and clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- College degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of industry experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Compensation
Hourly rate: $29.00 – $39.00 per hour (based on experience, geography, and budget).
