Example Job Duties:
Provides administrative support to the facility Superintendent and other Executive Staff members (i.e. timekeeping, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing documents/spreadsheets). Proficiency in all Mircosoft Office products and electronic record keeping is strongly preferred.
Coordinates committees (i.e. Executive Staff, Emergency Preparedness, Citizen Advisory Council) by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, attending/contributing to meetings and taking/distributing minutes.
Prepares correspondence on behalf of the developmental center (i.e. notifications to families/guardians, notifications to employees, preparing admission/extension agreements between the facility and county boards of developmental disabilities).
Acts as a liaison for compliance surveys by arranging meeting space, providing requested documentation, submitting plan of correction.
Completes rounds of residential areas and completes quality enhancement reviews of these areas to ensure standards of care are being met and policies are being followed.
Takes rotation as the Administrator on Call by receiving after hours notifications of incidents occurring at the facility and to make after hours administrative decisions.
Supervises other Administrative Professionals (i.e. completes performance reviews, timekeeping, training/coaching/mentoring, corrective action).
Typical hours are 8:00AM – 4:30PM Monday through Friday; however, this position will be required to work occasional week-ends, early mornings & evenings.

Qualifications
4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
