Join the City of Waterloo as an Administrative Assistant III in the Integrated Planning & Public Works. This full-time position is pivotal for providing customer service and administrative excellence.
In this role, you will support the Director of Planning and help coordinate various activities related to city planning. With a focus on compliance and accurate documentation, you’ll work with multiple stakeholders to facilitate planning processes. Relevant software knowledge like People Soft will be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to public inquiries regarding planning-related processes
• Maintain web pages and assist with statistics compilation
• Organize meetings, including ordering catering as necessary
• Prepare materials for city committee discussions
• Liaise with departments for information coordination
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in office administration
• Two years of administrative experience required
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of specific planning software is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
