What we need:
Administrative Professional 4
What we do:
At the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA), our primary goal is to protect the environment and public health. We do this by ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws.
What we need YOU to do:
Ohio EPA wants you to join our team as an administrative professional with the Office of Environmental Innovation (OEI) in our downtown Columbus office.
We need a details-driven, multitasking wizard (wand is optional).
OEI is looking for a self-starting, quick-learning, team-supporting individual to provide critical administrative guidance to our fast-paced office’s chief and management staff. This person is a well-rounded go-getter who can take direction and work independently while applying critical thinking to maintain office efficiency, interpret policies, make recommendations, and resolve problems.
A wiz with Word and other Microsoft Office tools, you’ll display exceptional communication skills in preparing and distributing reports, presentations, and correspondence. You’ll coordinate OEI activities with other agency divisions, the public, and external parties and act as liaison with the Director’s Office and Human Resources to ensure proper administrative procedures are met and followed.
You’re a pro at details, specifics, and must-knows. You are also extremely gifted at multitasking, maintaining calendars for senior management, managing travel requests and arrangements, and assisting with planning OEI events, including sponsorships and meeting logistics.
You are the straw that stirs the drink! We’ll count on you to keep the office running efficiently by managing supply inventory, equipment, and maintenance needs. You’ll also purchase office equipment and supplies and make conference, training, and travel purchases.
Let’s come back to those key tasks.
Provide non-routine administrative support to OEI management.
