The team you’ll be part of

Nokia Bell Labs is the world-renowned research arm of Nokia, having invented many of the foundational technologies that underpin information and communications networks and all digital devices and systems. This research has produced nine Nobel Prizes, five Turing Awards and numerous other awards.

Our research department involves 12 highly skilled researchers in France in US. In multi-cultural environment your work will contribute to the experimental validation of the Deterministic Networking concepts that are under work. Deterministic Networking is a technology that delivers data enforcing strict time constraints in IP/Ethernet based networks. This differs from the state of art packet based networks that are designed for resilience and scalability and that provides bounded latency at the best.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about solving problems?

As part of our team, you will:
learn new concepts like Deterministic Networking,

study, build and install the open source related software (e.g. https://tsn.readthedocs.io/index.html )

integrate the modified cards into the experimental testbed,

validate the experimental results,

when needed, modify the source code.

Your skills and experience

You have:
Advanced IP networks skill,

Advanced Linux skill, admin and developer,

Mastering level of C language,

It would be nice if you also had:
Ethernet knowledge,

Good level in Python language.
