Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated IT Infrastructure & Support Lead to join our team in

Colombia. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact for our Colombia site,

combining high-level infrastructure management with leadership over global IT service desk

functions. You must be a self-starter capable of making independent decisions based on real-

time situational needs while collaborating closely with management for items requiring higher-

level escalation. In addition to technical execution, you will be responsible for providing

comprehensive performance reports related to all IT deliverables within your scope.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Decision Making

● Situational Autonomy: Make independent technical decisions to resolve immediate site

issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

● Escalation Management: Identify complex issues exceeding standard protocols and

collaborate effectively with management for escalation and resolution.

● Performance Reporting: Generate and manage detailed reports on system health,

service levels, and IT deliverables to ensure transparency and accountability.

● Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to associates and foster a collaborative

environment across different geographical sites.

Infrastructure, Inventory & Device Management

● Inventory Control: Lead onsite inventory management of hardware and perform remote

inventory updating to maintain a high level of global asset accuracy.

● Infrastructure Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain core components

including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and storage systems.

● Cloud & Server Admin: Manage production and test instances of cloud servers, optimize

performance, and ensure regular backups are running.

● Device Compliance: Implement and monitor device management policies, ensuring all

managed equipment meets company security standards.

Critical Incident & Security Management

● Incident Resolution: Act as the primary lead for critical incidents, coordinating with

various teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

● Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of service desk tickets to ensure they meet

quality standards and defined SLAs.

● Security Operations: Manage SSO, MFA, and access controls while overseeing email

security, including spam filters and phishing management.

● Process Improvement: Proactively identify process gaps and drive improvements to

reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Restore (MTTR).

Qualifications

Must Haves (Essential)

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

● Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or IT support

with leadership qualities.

● Advanced conversational English (B2/B2+)

● Technical Proficiency: * In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking protocols,

and multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).

○ Experience configuring Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Azure AD.

○ Expertise in server setup (DNS, DHCP, Web servers) and enterprise platforms like

Zscaler or PRTG.

● Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills

(written and verbal).

● Logistics: Must be willing to work in Colombia, and be on call for urgent cases (including

holidays/weekends) to support Philippines requirements.

Good to Have (Beneficial)

● Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA A+/Server+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or MCSE/MCSA.

● Automation: Experience in PowerShell and/or VB scripting.

● Facility Tech: Basic knowledge in RFID, Biometrics, and CCTV Systems.
