Client Relationship Manager Receptionist

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Provide prompt, accurate, professional, and friendly customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Greet walk-in clients with courtesy and professionalism; determine their needs and direct them appropriately.

b. Answer and direct incoming calls promptly; take messages or refer to voicemail only when necessary.

c. Prepare and process standard requests such as certificates of insurance, cancellations, auto ID cards, and policy changes.

d. Accept and process policy premium payments, including uploading direct bill payments to carriers as needed.

e. Assist with endorsement requests and client service follow-up.

f. Maintain client records within the agency management system.

g. Monitor agency lobby and coordinate internal announcements.

h. Open and distribute daily mail and assist with staff communications.

i. Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed.

j. Provide administrative support to licensed agents, including scheduling, document preparation, and quoting assistance.

k. Help maintain licensing files, continuing education tracking, and appointment maintenance as directed.

l. Support personal lines renewal controls and maintain proper documentation.

m. Promote agency values through professionalism, exceptional customer service, and positive interactions with coworkers and clients.

n. Assist with other tasks and departments as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must be a self-starter, imaginative and creative with good communication skills both verbal and written. Should have a thorough understanding of insurance.

2. Critical proofing is required.

3. Must have keyboarding and computer skills. Microsoft Word & Excel required.

4. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable.

5. Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

6. Must possess skills to maintain harmonious working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and customers.

Physical Requirements:

Light Work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating, and interacting with others. You should be capable of performing in a reasonable manner, with or without reasonable accommodation, the activities involved in this job.
