THE ROLE

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Administrator to join our dynamic team in Nis, Serbia. You will be working side by side with an experienced site admin (15+ years in this role), and partner with AMD colleagues worldwide. Alongside everyday office admin tasks, you’ll focus on logistics: tracking shipments, preparing customs paperwork, and supporting bookkeeping.

DURATION

12 month contract, with possibility to extend.

THE PERSON

You will bring a blend of professionalism, expertise, passion, and flexibility to the role. You possess strong organizational skills, are detail-oriented, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task work responsibilities. You have strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to partner well with others and build strong, effective relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative support including meeting arrangements, travel coordination, data processing, expense reporting, etc.

Processing incoming & outgoing shipments for Nis and Belgrade locations

Organize customs clearance for shipments by working with AMD Global Logistics team, global shipment companies

Creating supporting documentation for customs clearance and bookkeeping

Track, order and stock office supplies and other consumables (snacks, water balloons, coffee…)

Closely cooperate with relevant external service providers (travel agencies, hotels, mailing services, and others)

Meet and greet guests, order all catering for meetings, and arrange off-site events

Providing support in organizing company events

Understand business operations and use this expertise to help improve operations and overall efficiency of the organization

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: 

Relevant administrative experience 

Strong English communication skills, both written and oral, strong interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Experience working in a technology company with a globally diverse population

Detail oriented with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 

High level of initiative and organization 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree is a plus
