Role Description The Junior Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Yangon. This position supports the merchandising team in planning, selecting, and managing product ranges to meet customer needs and sales targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with product assortment planning, tracking stock levels, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. The role also involves monitoring sales performance, supporting pricing and promotion activities, and ensuring products are displayed in line with brand standards. The Junior Merchandiser will help gather market and competitor insights, prepare reports, and support cross-functional projects to enhance overall retail performance.

• Monitor stock levels and maintain healthy inventory across stores and channels
• Assist in forecas(ng product demand and replenishment planning
• Track slow-moving, aging, and fast-selling items and recommend ac(ons
• Communicate with suppliers regarding quota(ons, product informa(on, pricing, and
promo(ons
• Follow up on order confirma(ons, warranty process, shipment schedules, and delivery
status
• Maintain good rela(onships with exis(ng suppliers and support new supplier
onboarding
• Prepare sales reports and analyze product performance
• Monitor market trends, compe(tor ac(vi(es, and pricing
• Assist in iden(fying new product opportuni(es and category expansion
• Collect and maintain product specifica(ons, features, images, and marke(ng materials
• Support product knowledge sharing and training sessions for sales teams to ensure
accurate product informa(on is updated in internal systems
• Maintain accurate records of orders, pricing, and supplier informa(on
• Coordinate with warehouse, logis(cs, marke(ng, and retail teams on merchandising
ac(vi(es
Qualifica,ons & Requirements
• Any Graduate
• 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, purchasing, retail opera(ons, or a related role
• Good communica(on and nego(a(on skills
• Proficient in MicrosoP Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and manage mul(ple tasks
• Basic understanding of retail, inventory management, and product lifecycle management
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency in reading, wri(ng, and speaking
• Able to understand product specifica(ons, quota(ons, purchase orders, and business
correspondence in English
