Our vision is to be a Division that meets its quality targets, sets a high standard for other Divisions, and leads innovation for the Agency. The submissions processed annually by SPD account for well over 90% of total revenues collected and more than 11 million tax returns processed by the Agency.  SPD is organized into three sections. The Knowledge and Project Management section. manages division knowledge, and oversees division projects and initiatives, and is currently recruiting for a Knowledge Specialist. This position requires a thorough knowledge of services, policies, and procedures related to Knowledge Management (KM). The candidate will need to demonstrate and apply KM knowledge in compiling, assimilating, and organizing a large volume of electronic information. The candidate selected will work with division SMEs to understand business processes at a level sufficient to ensure outcomes of audience-appropriate knowledge documents and will need the ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities, and the ability to use innovative, effective approaches to identify options for solutions. The selected candidate will present ideas clearly and effectively in written form using a variety of media; and have the ability to adjust language or terminology to meet the needs of the target audience.
