Role Description
The Goethe-Institut Singapore is looking for a highly motivated staff member available from September 2026. As language course administrator, you will advise on language courses and examinations and handle the enrolment process for adults’, children’s and corporate courses. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
· providing information and advice on language courses and examinations at the Goethe-Institut Singapore in person, on the phone and in writing
· sale of courses and examinations, including invoicing, collection, record keeping and accounting
· organising and processing enrolment for courses and examinations including all correspondence involved
· assistance with exam organisation, including preparation, filing and reporting
· complaint handling
· issuing attendance certificates
· business correspondence
· record keeping and file management
Requirements:
· formal commercial qualification or comparable level of knowledge and skill
· experience in customer service and administration of advantage
· high level of customer focus
· excellent command of English
· excellent organisational skills
· ability to work independently
· sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point
· willingness to familiarise yourself with enrolment system
· team-oriented attitude and strong communicative skills, intercultural competence
· ability to work under pressure
· willingness to work flexible hours
· knowledge of German of advantage
The scope of employment is 40 hours per week. This position offers an attractive range of duties, an interesting and varied work environment and an appropriate remuneration in accordance with the Goethe-Institut’s local salary scheme. We look forward to receiving your application.
