Systems Administrator & Innovation Lead

Our client is looking for a commercially minded Systems Administrator & Innovation Lead to take ownership of its business systems and drive continuous improvement through technology, automation, and innovation.
This is far more than a traditional systems administration role. You'll own the technology environment, optimise business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and help shape how technology supports the company's future growth.
What you'll be doing
- Take ownership of the company's core business systems, ensuring they remain reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose.
- Manage and enhance the Zoho platform, including workflows, automations, dashboards, and integrations.
- Oversee the wider technology environment, including Office 365, AWS, and PBX systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI, and smarter business processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and implement practical technology solutions.
- Lead system enhancements, troubleshooting, user support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain system documentation, governance, and best practice standards.
What we're looking for
- Experience administering Zoho or a similar CRM, ERP, workflow, or business systems platform.
- Strong understanding of business process improvement and systems optimisation.
- Experience implementing automations, workflows, and system integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Exposure to low-code platforms, scripting, APIs, or system integrations would be highly advantageous.
- Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies that improve business efficiency.
