Full Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Manager of Leave Administration leads the implementation and administration of the Company’s leave of absence programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Develop, review, and update Company leave policies in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring clarity and consistency
Receive, review, and process leave requests accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with Company policies and relevant laws
Serve as the primary point of contact for Members seeking information or assistance regarding leave policies, eligibility, and procedures
Manage leave administration systems, including leave tracking software, to accurately record Member leave balances, usage, and accruals
Stay abreast of relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to leave administration, ensuring compliance and updating policies as necessary
Conduct training sessions for Members and managers to ensure understanding of leave policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Generate reports and conduct analysis on leave trends, usage, and compliance metrics to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with People personnel and department managers to address leave-related issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth operations
Maintain accurate and confidential records of leave requests, approvals, denials, and related correspondence in compliance with Company policies and legal requirements
Monitor legislation and other changes in benefits laws and provide recommendations on the next actions or required changes to maintain compliance
Effectively translate analytical data into various formats for presentation, including PowerPoint, Word, and other software platforms
Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Four (4) years of experience in leave administration for a large-scale luxury resort/casino
CCP, PHR, or SHRM certification preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of leave laws, regulations, and best practices, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific regulations
Knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in leave administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in project management skills, systems development life cycle, and implementing packaged solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Strong skills in project leadership, communications, partnering, and driving results
