Legal Administrator

A leading UK law firm is looking for a dedicated Legal Administrator to join their Cheltenham office on a permanent basis. You will have previous admin experience and/or customer service experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and prestigious team. Their offices are commutable from various UK locations including Birmingham, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Cardiff to name but a few!

Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)

Salary to £25,500

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Administrator:

Support the Compliance & Risk Team with the completion of client due diligence, conflict checking and the Anti Money Laundering processes

Create new files and maintain and update existing files, demonstrating an understanding of the principal documents within file

Working effectively and efficiently on the Practice Management System to log and record documents

Complete searches at the request of Partners, fee earners, Client Services Leads and Client Services Executives

Undertake all file closing procedures including the processing of archiving and retrieval, and photocopying, printing, scanning, binding, and filing tasks

Supporting the Finance team by ensuring receipts, cheques and bills are correctly loaded onto the system

Skills & Requirements of the Legal Administrator:

A minimum of 6 months administration experience

GCSEs graded A to C to include maths and English (or equivalent level of qualification)
