North Shore Radiology and Nuclear Medicine is a vibrant and busy integrated medical imaging business based in St Leonards. We have two large medical imaging practices on the Royal North Shore Hospital campus and a third at Lane Cove. We have proudly supported the local community and provided quality care for more than 30 years and counting.
The Position
This is a Level 1 IT Support role, defined by a hands-on approach and a strong customer service focus.
As one of our Radiology IT Support Officers, you are the first point of contact for IT within our business. You will be responsible for upholding a reliable and smooth day-to-day user experience and IT service. You’ll work closely with radiologists, clinical staff and our IT team to provide assistance, track issues and keep essential systems operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical and application support to internal staff and external referrers
- Communicate clearly with users through phone, email and helpdesk systems
- Building systems to SOE specifications and deployment of hardware/software
- Triage and escalate issues, with regard to individual and business impact
- Update end users on their support requests and provide timely resolutions
- Contribute to internal IT support and infrastructure documentation
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support to clinical, admin and external teams.
About You
- Certificate in IT (or currently studying towards one)
- Previous IT experience required (healthcare experience is a bonus!)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills – hardware/integration/networking
- Good technical foundation and an ongoing interest in technology/IT/healthcare
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A customer-first attitude, with a focus on supporting healthcare professionals
