Loan Assistant

Report to: Branch Manager, Calgary Branch

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract/Full Time, Permanent

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Job Description

· Provide administrative support to the Corporate Banking Business Line, Preparing, consolidating and completing various regular and ad hoc business reports, lists researches, business summaries, meeting minutes, etc. and distribute/submit as needed as needed.

· Support AO in loan administration including but not limited to, submit various facility application/renewal application/status report and drawdown/conversion/repricing requests in the system.

· Support AO in maintaining client relationship and prospecting potential clients.

· Maintain and manage documents filing of the business unit for both hard copy files and system e-files. Assist AO to upload e-files into related system of the Bank, if needed.

· Perform market research and collect information to build a pipeline for potential Corporate Banking clients.

· Perform KYC and compliance process for new and existing clients.

· Provide administrative support to the Superior as required.

Qualification

· 2-3 Years of related work experience.

· Verbal and writing skills in both English and Chinese with work proficiency.

· High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

· Other qualifications are as per the Bank’s standard hiring requirement.
