Marketing Manager/Mortgage Loan Originator at KTL Performance Mortgage
The Loan Originator Assistant will work under the direct supervision and mentorship of a Senior Loan Officer at the KTL Performance Mortgage Richmond office. The Loan Originator Assistant will assist with all facets of the loan origination process.
After a 90-day orientation period, the Loan Originator Assistant will be expected to begin the process of obtaining their NMLS loan originator license. The NMLS licensing process includes pre-licensure education, passing the SAFE Mortgage Loan Officer exam, and passing all background, criminal, and credit checks.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
Providing support to Senior Loan Originators.
Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
Greeting and assisting clients coming into the Richmond office.
Generating complete and accurate mortgage applications.
Communicating with clients via phone, email, text message, and other methods.
Following up on leads received from various lead generation sources. This follow-up may include cold calls, emails, text messages, and other methods.
Pulling, reviewing, and analyzing credit reports.
Reviewing, compiling, and verifying loan documents.
Ordering 3rd party services and verifications.
Providing professional, clear, and timely communication with clients, third-party vendors, realtors, title/settlement agents, loan originators, and loan processors in a professional and courteous manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent customer service skills, phone and email etiquette, and ability to work well with others
Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
This is a full-time, in-person, 40 hour/week position located in our Richmond, Indiana office.
