Mail Clerk Jobs in Loma Linda, California, USA at California Jobs

The Mail Clerk accurately sorts incoming and inter-department mail to designated stops for delivery to all LLUAHSC facilities. Picks up outgoing mail at all mail stops. Must become knowledgeable of names and locations in and outside the facility. Looks up any unknown names. Writes up tickets for accountable mail for specific addresses. Delivers mail on a specified route. Must be cross-trained to assist in other Mail Center functions.

Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: Successful completion of training by the end of the introductory period. Minimum one year mail clerk or related experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills: Excellent hand/motor skills, dexterity, and manipulative accuracy. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
