Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager of Surgical Technologies is a “hands on” position responsible for the leadership, design, development and successful implementation of technologies to improve the Surgical Service Lines at HCA Healthcare. This position directly supervises 4 staff members and at least 3 developers indirectly. This person will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, establishing pricing and contracts as well as maintaining agreed upon service level monitoring. This team also manages the daily operations of those systems post implementation.
SURGICAL SERVICES– This involves automating business process or services that are involved in preparing for or delivering surgical services to patients within HCA Healthcare’s facilities. The current systems involved include
Scheduling Express– This in-house developed system allows physician practices the ability to reserve and schedule operating rooms from desktop or mobile browsers.
Surgical Symphony– This in-house developed system allows surgical staff and family members to communicate status of the surgical event. For example, family members can track progress of the patient’s surgery, anesthesiologists can be …
