Job Responsibilities
- Support and improve daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth production flow and productivity.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to process, machinery, yield, and product quality.
- Develop, review, and update SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Monitor process parameters, cycle time, downtime, and production performance indicators.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and line setup activities.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Participate in CAPA activities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing process enhancements.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement tools.
- Knowledge in process documentation, SOP preparation, and root cause analysis.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in semiconductor, precision engineering, packaging, or cleanroom manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, CAPA, and process validation.
- Exposure to automation or manufacturing equipment improvement projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and manufacturing data analysis.
