Position: MEDICAL AIDE-HOMES
Administers medications under the direction of an RN or LPN. Knowledge of medications and their procedures to ensure safe administration. Requires numerical ability and clerical perception. Follows the 5 rights of medication administration to ensure accurate and timely administration of medications.
May be asked to work as CNA to assist when needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current North Dakota Med Aide II or Med Aide III certification
Current North Dakota CNA certification
CPR certified
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements
1-2 years CNA experience preferred, but not required
