for our Full Time medical assistant opportunity with a busy cardiology office in Stamford, CT! This position is within CT’s 2nd largest employer offering room for growth, the ability to experience different specialties, and also the opportunity for permanent hire!
Specialty:
Cardiology Medical Assistant daily role:+ Greeting and rooming patients + Recording vitals + Performing EKG’s & stress tests as needed + Update patient history using Epic EMR system + Assist providers in procedures +
Must be
comfortable performing administrative duties including scheduling appointments, performing insurance verifications, & also prior authorizations.
Work environment
:+ This role includes both clinical and administrative duties + Fast paced cardiology office, 25-30 patients per day +
Must be
comfortable floating to satellite offices as needed (will be notified in advance) Schedule & Locations:+ Monday-Friday 8:30pm-5pm, full time 40 hour work week + Located in Stamford, CT – may be asked to travel to satellite offices as needed (PTO, call outs, etc.) Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
+ 1+ year of medical assisting experience + Cardiology/EKG experience preferred +
Must be
comfortable working with all ages +
Must have
medical assistant diploma, CMA/RMA preferred +
Must have
prior EMR/EHR experience, Epic preferred
