Job Description
Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 8:30am -5pm. Tuesdays 9 am-3pm
Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the front desk
Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system
Schedule appointments
Answer phone calls, take messages, send reminder texts
Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing
Collect co-pays and payments for services
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements
Previous experience as a dental receptionist
Dentrix Software Experience
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and reliable person
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced office environment
Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus
Familiarity with insurance verification and claim processing procedures is preferred
