Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front office operations of our medical facility. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of medical office procedures.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-in/check-out processes.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence efficiently.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Support office management tasks, including inventory management and supply ordering.
Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred but not required.
Understanding of office management practices within a healthcare environment.
Bilingual skills are a plus to assist diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management principles is essential and we can train for this
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in using office equipment and computer software
