Medical Secretary – Scribe, Orthopedics, FT Days Jobs in Norwich, NY at United Health Services

The purpose of this position will be to assist our Product Management and Research and Development team with daily tasks and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing assistance to product managers
Preparing product development packets
Tracking incoming and pending product development requests
Additional project work assigned by management
Regular attendance as required
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities:

Provide assistance to product managers & product management leaders
Plan, coordinate, and execute team and department meetings, events, and activities and make note of action items and necessary follow up
Prepare and distribute information for internal and external communications, including but not limited to memos, emails, presentations and reports
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Paycom personnel and management when questions or roadblocks arise
Prepare necessary reports and presentations
Proactively anticipate the business needs of the department
Assist in program logistics and communications
Act as a backup for other support staff as needed
Make department purchases as necessary, including but not limited to supplies and employee recognition items
Complete projects accurately and timely as defined by management
Other duties as assigned

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Previous administrative experience

Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams, and Word)
Ability to adapt and respond effectively and promptly to changing situations and conditions
Ability to user computer applications, printers, copier, fax machine, and telephone
Organization and communication skills
Detail oriented
Cooperative and willing to work with others
Customer friendly attitude
