JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to the big picture of an investment dealer and will take ownership of the firm's Microsoft environment with accountability and attention to detail. They will be comfortable working across compliance, finance, and operations, and will see their role as integral to the firm's security and continuity rather than a siloed technical function.
Responsibilities
- Manage the firm's Microsoft environment, including user profiles, Intune device configuration, mailbox configuration, and SharePoint site management.
- Handle staff onboarding and offboarding, including hardware setup and provisioning across core systems such as Fundserv, Adobe and Dataphile.
- Manage quarantined emails, and support email archiving in coordination with compliance.
- Conduct monthly user license reviews to keep IT spend optimized.
- Maintain and test certain parts of our Business Continuity Plan
- Serve as a liaison with the firm's external IT partner.
- Assist with troubleshooting system issues for advisors
Qualifications
- Regardless of experience, we provide specific training and ongoing development to all employees to ensure that knowledge and experience are applied consistently throughout the organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 0-3 years experience in an IT role
- Experience with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Sharepoint, Exchange Online an asset
COMPENSATION & POSITION DETAILS
- Annual salary range $45,000 – $55,000
- This is a newly created role that is currently vacant
