Mortgage Administrator

Work in the insurance industry as a Mortgage Administrator in a hybrid setup, supporting residential mortgage documentation. This one-year contract offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment, exposure to underwriting and compliance, and potential for extension or permanent hire.

What is in it for you:

• Hourly salary of $23 to $24, based on experience.

• 12-month contract.

• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.

• Weekday schedule from 8 am to 4 pm.

• Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review manual mortgage documentation for accuracy and compliance.

• Validate that all residential mortgage documents meet the Bank’s underwriting policies and standards.

• Manage documentation workflows under tight deadlines.

• Liaise with underwriting and sales teams to gather and confirm necessary information.

• Ensure alignment with internal policies, mortgage product terms, and compliance regulations.

• Troubleshoot documentation issues or discrepancies.

• Maintain clear, organized records for internal use.

• Provide support to internal stakeholders and clients as needed.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree (nice to have).

• 3+ years of experience in mortgage administration or a similar role.

• General knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting processes, credit policies, and compliance regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency with document management tools and software.

• Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and standards (nice to have).
