Compass Education Group is seeking an Administrative Coordinator of Events. This is a remote position, working Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm Eastern Time or Central Time. This is a full-time, hourly position.

The Role:

The Administrative Coordinator of Events (“ACE”) is tasked with organizing successful events company-wide. The ACE coordinates with the Business Development/Outreach Team, the Director Team, and the Administrative Team (among other departments) to ensure that all details related to events are smoothly and efficiently executed. In addition, the ACE may function as a utility administrative team member, assisting with administration responsibilities as needed. Administrative tasks include (but are not limited to): answering phones, responding to tutor/client email correspondence, practice test organizing, etc. The ACE reports to the Operations Director. This is a remote position, working Eastern or Central Time hours.

Essential Functions:

Manage presentation event scheduling and confirmation of speakers for hundreds of public speaking events per year.
Create/update Wordpress websites.
Create/update online/Zoom events.
Maintain accurate and thorough CP records of each scheduled event.
Assist in the coordination of shipping and receiving event materials.
Communicate with school counselors promptly and professionally as part of event scheduling, planning, and follow-up.
Process and post recordings of events to the appropriate platforms within 24-48 hours of each event.
Send prompt follow-up messaging after each event to provide resources to hosts, registrants, and attendees.
Create 1on1 files and reminders for attendees requesting individual follow-up within 24-48 hours of each event.
Provide custom event support for speakers as needed.
Manage the maintenance of school and counselor records.
Develop and maintain Guide mailing lists.
Manage and support Compass attendance at professional conferences, including coordinating registration, booth reservations, materials and travel.
Make sure that communication verbiage remains consistent across public-facing communication
Working closely in partnership with the second ACE to ensure all event planning is executed smoothly and efficiently.
Assist with other company-wide Admin duties as requested (answering phones, checking email inboxes, etc).

Qualifications:

Meaningful professional experience in a related role.

Compensation:

$23.00/hour with annual reviews.
17 PTO days in year one plus one additional day for every year served up to 22 days. An additional 11 paid holidays per year.
