Office Admin and HR Coordinator
Diverse range of responsibilities to drive success in the current role:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including facilities, vendors, supplies, travel, and workplace administration.
- Oversee procurement, expense tracking, petty cash, and local finance coordination.
- Ensure compliance with MOM workplace requirements and coordinate with building management, vendors, and authorities.
- Drive employee engagement through team events, offsites, and office culture initiatives.
- Champion our client’s values and foster a positive, cohesive workplace environment.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and workplace matters.
Current major challenges for the potential hire to resolve is:
- Building the Singapore office from scratch with limited existing HR, administrative, and vendor infrastructure.
- Managing complex work pass, immigration, and relocation requirements for a globally hired engineering team.
- Ensuring a consistent onboarding and employee experience without an on-site HR function.
- Balancing diverse office administration and people operations responsibilities in a lean team environment.
- Keeping pace with evolving MOM and employment compliance requirements as the organization scales.
Client's desires the Office Admin and HR Coordinator to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in office administration and/or HR operations, preferably in technology, engineering, or startup environments.
- Strong generalist mindset with the ability to independently manage both HR and administrative responsibilities.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and effective at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across globally distributed teams.
