Position: Administrative & Sales Assistant
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Employment Type: Part-Time (10–20 hours/week, with potential for growth)
Compensation: Hourly + commission (based on experience); paid bi-weekly. Bonuses for referring custom clients and supporting events.

Overview:

Ashley Schenkein Jewelry Design, a small but dynamic Denver-based jewelry brand, is looking for a polished, detail-oriented, and high-energy Administrative & Sales Assistant to join our team.

This role blends customer interaction with behind-the-scenes responsibilities. You’ll be supporting our day-to-day operations, helping clients in our retail shop, managing consignment accounts, organizing inventory, and contributing to our evolving brand in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. There’s real opportunity for growth here—as our company grows, so can this role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Retail Sales
Assist in-store customers with purchases
Represent our brand at off-site events (approx. 8–10 days per year)
Order Fulfillment
Package and ship online orders with care
Inventory Management
Tag, organize, and merchandise jewelry in-store
Consignment Accounts
Perform regular inventory checks at partner locations
Restock and merchandise jewelry at these stores
Communicate with staff and build relationships
Permanent Jewelry Welding
Training provided—learn to weld and offer permanent jewelry services
Store Maintenance
Keep the shop and displays tidy and well-organized
Local Errands
Occasionally run errands related to store operations
Admin Support
Enter customer sales and manage the CRM database
Website Inventory Updates
Upload new products (no tech background needed, but comfort with computers is a must)
Optional but Awesome:
Assist with photo and video content for social media
Other Duties as Needed

Requirements:

High school diploma (or equivalent experience)
2+ years experience in retail, sales, or customer service
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
Comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods
Comfortable in a small, fast-paced, creative work environment
