Job Summary

Metro State University, Minnesota’s public, urban university, and four-time recipient of the Insight IntoDiversityHigherEducationExcellence inDiversity(HEED) Award is seeking to hire a Lead Enrollment Processor.This is a full-time position within Admissions.

Job Responsibilities:

This position providesproject coordinationand enrollment support to the dual admission/enrollment and partnership programs for the admissions office. The position is responsible for working on high level projects including, but not limited to, deliveringcommunicationplans to partner personnel, processing applications, and providing lead work direction to support staff and student workers. The Lead Enrollment Processor will be expected to develop, monitor, train and implement procedures and guidelines for thepurposeofoptimizationto increase departmental efficiencies.

Principle responsibilities include:

Coordinate and monitor the dual admission/enrollment, 2+2 completion and partner programs for undergraduate admissions to ensure accurate enrollment is reported.

Lead, supervise, and direct the student worker operations teams within Admissions Office, including hiring, training, and disciplinary action.

Provide continuity for admission staff and student workers to stay current with all admissions program decisions and practices for department effectiveness while also ensuring accurate data entry.

Perform technical assistance to students and interpret ambiguous procedures/rules regarding the application process to ensure excellent customer service.

Skill in database management sufficient to enter and retrieve information into a database and produce ad-hoc queries and reports for management’s use.

Knowledge of communications sufficient to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with a variety of customers, provide excellent customer service, and communicate effectively and comfortably with university and collegeleadership.

Skill in customer service sufficient to respectfully engage with clients, coworkers, and customers, when handling difficult or complex problems and resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
