Byron Outdoor Superstore is hiring now for an Administrative Assistant to handle various administrative tasks, including phone management, customer service, appointment scheduling, and inventory organization, to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the Service Department. Ideal candidates will provide excellent customer service skills and leave customers with a great feeling about the experience they have had at our store. Byron Outdoor Superstore is located in Middle Georgia, and minutes away from Macon, Perry, Warner Robins, Centerville, and Warner Robins Airforce Base. Furthermore, we are only one hour south of Atlanta. Responsibilities – Administrative Assistant:

Answer the phone and direct calls appropriately
Handle the life of the Repair Order (RO) process
Check keys in and out for trucks efficiently
Meet the customer service expectations of Byron Outdoor Superstore and our Service Department
Complete RV packets for Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
Send DAF attachments to all RV vendors
Complete and organize build envelopes and their respective drawers
Make key tags and perform trade inspections
Manage the recall process efficiently
Schedule service appointments
Use Service Manager Pro for various tasks
Conduct daily follow-up phone calls to cashiered customers (BDC)
Submit weekly Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs)
Ship warranty parts and maintain the warranty room
Replace missing signage in the showroom
Learn all service department processes to serve as a backup for service advisors
Reconcile Service Department credit cards
Manage processes for abandoned units and REPO tractors
Scan and organize inventory
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team

Qualifications/Requirements – Administrative Assistant:

Administrative and/or Clerical experience preferred but we will train motivated candidates!
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
Strong customer service orientation
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency with office software and willingness to learn specialized programs
Previous experience with high inbound/outbound calls preferred
Computer/internet savvy
