Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment for an Administrative Secretary position at our Welcome Center.
This is a 12-month position. 8 hours per day.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalency
Previous secretarial office experience required with successful skills in creating and managing multiple projects
Expert-user skill-level in creation and use of databases, spreadsheets, word processing and the full range of Microsoft Office Suite products, data entry and records management
Excellent organizational and communication skills both orally and in written communication
Experience with a wide range of office equipment
Typing speed of at least 40 wpm with accuracy and proper use of grammar
Must be able to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
Must be able to assist supervisor in creating a safe, positive and confidential working environment
Must work well with students, staff, community members and parents of diverse populations.
