Location: Los Angeles Metropolitan Area

Law firm is seeking an Office Administrator to join their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

Orientation, onboarding and integration of all new employees (partners & staff)

Participate in new hire orientation

Attend office committee meetings, take notes and follow up

Assist Managing Partners with lateral partner recruiting

Manage office calendars including local Los Angeles office and master calendar of firm-wide programs

Coordinate special events for attorneys and staff, clients, and affiliated organizations

Design and implement office programs and initiatives

Participates in peer group meetings with other Los Angeles law firms

Develops policies and procedures specific to the LA office including but not limited to off hours support and weather related closings

Works with IT management on system maintenance, upgrades and rollouts, user training and IT-related client service

Assist with financial planning and oversight for build-out of new office space and renovations as well as personnel moves

Assign office space to new personnel

Manage day-to-day facilities issues such as building security, cleaning and maintenance, heating and air conditioning, emergency preparedness, and general tenant issues

Monitor office operations

Manage the emergency preparedness program for the office including periodic drills in coordination with the building, and CPR and AED training for responders

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required

At least 3-5 years of experience in office management within a law firm or corporate office required

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

Able to work in-office Monday through Friday
