The Administrative Coordinator in the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness supports the research staff in the completion of a variety of projects. IRE provides accurate and comprehensive research and analysis to inform institutional decision-making, strategic planning, budgeting, compliance, and external reporting. The office promotes the use of data and information in ensuring overall effectiveness in fulfilling the institution’s mission and goals.
Responsibilities:
Data preparation and cleaning, including quantitative and qualitative data, in Excel and Google Sheets.
Proofread and edit reports.
Run processes in SAS to produce datasets such as mailing lists for surveys.
Create data visualizations and presentations.
Design quarterly newsletter and flyers to promote surveys.
Assist with survey administration, analysis and reporting using programs such as SurveyMonkey and Google Forms.
Manage logistics for academic program reviews, focus groups and other events and meetings (involves sign-up forms, food, room reservations, etc.)
Maintain the offices’ public-facing and internal website pages and resources with regular updates.
Perform office and financial management tasks including ordering supplies and submission of purchase orders and payment requests.
Manage department calendars, google groups, and shared folders.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of three years of administrative support or appropriate experience.
Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as experience with calendar applications and group and list management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with in higher education and/or with a student information system such as Banner.
Experience or training in research methods.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.
Experience working with data.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially the ability to communicate and collaborate with different audiences.
Exemplary attention to detail, project management, and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
Adherence to data integrity standards and confidentiality expectations.
Comfort with learning new technology.

Salary
Salary: $74,494.11
The UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) dictates the compensation, benefits, and conditions of employment. Hiring Salary: $74,494.11per year with step increments per Salary Schedule 93, after one year of service and annually thereafter.
Work Schedule
Days/Hours: M-F, 9am-5pm, in person; work schedule subject to change based on needs of the department.

The working conditions for this position will be primarily in an office space. The physical requirement for this position will require frequent sitting, occasional standing, occasional bending, frequent walking, and occasionally lifting up to 10 lbs.
