JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for performing administrative, marketing and fiscal duties to provide support to the program at Camp Bob Cooper in Summerton, SC.

JOB DUTIES:

35% – Essential – Administrative:
Assistant to the site director, assistant director and support staff in daily operations of the facility. Answers phones, keeps calendars, receives and directs visitors to appropriate personnel or facilities, processes paperwork for temporary staff. Communicates to Clemson HR and YLI HR on new hire processes. Deals effectively with public in handling information and inquiries.

30% – Essential – Budget and Accounting:
Collects timesheets, reconciles spreadsheets, prepares invoices for rental groups in a timely manner. Completes contracts for rental groups, communicates to site personnel about details of the contracts. Works with YLI finance team to ensures purchase orders, timesheets, invoices, etc. are completed. Submits workers comp incident management reports in a timely manner. Assists with p-card processing.

20% – Essential – Marketing:
Assists with marketing efforts and booking the site with groups. Recruits groups for Crew and DSN and other programs as requested. Contacts previous client groups and potential groups for securing future business. Handles requests for information about site rentals.

15% – Essential – Reports and Other Duties
Updates monthly and quarterly vehicle reports. Manages gas logs for vehicles assigned to the site. Prepares and modifies documents as needed. Completes CUMIS for each group. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education – High School or Equivalent – Experience in a related area
Work Exp 2+ years

RESPONSIBILITIES

Firm Job Knowledge – Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties – Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors Budget – Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

15% – Stand for prolonged period
75% – Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period
15% – Walk or move about
70% – Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself

WORKING CONDITIONS:

75% – Noise
5% – Overnight Travel

WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard Hrs: 37.5

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Band: 04 ($ 32,686.00 – $ 40,000.00)

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson’s compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
