Salary: $20 and up DOE

The Office Administrator creates a professional environment and presents a welcoming presence for visitors, students and parents. The Office Administrator is responsible for keeping the school office running smoothly and providing administrative support to the Head of School and Administration. We offer medical, dental, vision, 403B, life insurance, and PTO. Hourly start at $20.00 and up DOE.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

∙ Receptionist duties (answering the school phone, receiving and assisting visitors, students & parents, copying, editing, mailing, and more)
∙ Distribute office mail, coordinate mail holds, and troubleshoot postage meter as needed
∙ Create, edit and update forms and documents and convert to online forms and processes where possible.
∙ Ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of data
∙ Help organize and maintain event supplies, office supplies and school inventory in storage spaces
∙ Coordinate School Bus usage for sports and field trips and maintain shared calendar
∙ Maintains accurate daily attendance records
∙ Assist injured and sick students
∙ Provide student behavior forms
∙ Supervise Office TA when applicable

SUBSTITUTE COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

∙ Maintain a list of substitutes and recruit and train more throughout the year as needed
∙ Respond to some evening and early morning requests for substitutes
∙ Find substitute coverage and communicate this with teacher and principal
∙ Share all lesson plans, log ins, keycards and rosters with substitute
∙ Keep substitute calendar updated and accurate
∙ Confirm that substitutes are filling out their pay forms in a timely manner
