Overview: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance within the office environment. 

This position is a fully remote position for candidates available to start immediately. Priority will be placed for candidates in the Greater Vancouver area – in person interview may be requested. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

– Monitor general company inbox for client inquiries as well as general client communication 

– Assist with drafting of office documents and invoices with template files and training provided 

– Assist with finalization of client deliverables 

– Assist in the onboarding process for new hires 

– Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events 

– Assist with process documentation, as deemed necessary 

– Perform basic bookkeeping activities 

– Assist in technological advancement projects 

– Experience in working with accounting firms is a plus 

– Other ad-hoc tasks on as-requested basis 

Requirements: 

– Proficiency in MS365 and MS Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) – proficiency in Excel is a must 

– Proficiency with PDF reader and editor 

– Proven work experience as an Office Administrator, Office Assistant, or similar role 

– Professional attitude and demeanor suitable for a professional office environment 

– Excellent attitude with willingness to learn 

– Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude 

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

– Knowledge of office management systems and procedures 

– Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills 

– High school diploma; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus 

– Knowledge with tax return and accounting software such as TaxCycle and Quickbooks is a plus 

– Knowledge with electronic signature platforms such as Verifyle is a plus 

– Criminal check records will be requested for the successful candidate
