We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance within the office environment.Â
This position is a fully remote position for candidates available to start immediately. Priority will be placed for candidates in the Greater Vancouver area – in person interview may be requested.Â
Roles and Responsibilities:Â
– Monitor general company inbox for client inquiries as well as general client communicationÂ
– Assist with drafting of office documents and invoices with template files and training providedÂ
– Assist with finalization of client deliverablesÂ
– Assist in the onboarding process for new hiresÂ
– Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and eventsÂ
– Assist with process documentation, as deemed necessaryÂ
– Perform basic bookkeeping activitiesÂ
– Assist in technological advancement projectsÂ
– Experience in working with accounting firms is a plusÂ
– Other ad-hoc tasks on as-requested basisÂ
Requirements:Â
– Proficiency in MS365 and MS Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) – proficiency in Excel is a mustÂ
– Proficiency with PDF reader and editorÂ
– Proven work experience as an Office Administrator, Office Assistant, or similar roleÂ
– Professional attitude and demeanor suitable for a professional office environmentÂ
– Excellent attitude with willingness to learnÂ
– Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitudeÂ
– Excellent written and verbal communication skillsÂ
– Knowledge of office management systems and proceduresÂ
– Attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsÂ
– High school diploma; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plusÂ
– Knowledge with tax return and accounting software such as TaxCycle and Quickbooks is a plusÂ
– Knowledge with electronic signature platforms such as Verifyle is a plusÂ
– Criminal check records will be requested for the successful candidate
