ITL Solutions is a fast-growing ISO 9001:2015 certified Defense Contractor who is currently seeking a Order Entry Specialist.
ITL Solutions is looking for a motivated individual to support our purchasing and accounting departments for our US Military and Federal Government Customers. The Purchasing Specialist will work Sales, Operations, Engineering and Quality personnel to ensure the right parts, materials and items are procured to meet customer specifications. Experience with Military and Federal Government contracting, is desired, but not required.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Review and input orders into ERP.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and assess trends in material pricing and availability.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all purchased materials meet or exceed required standards and specifications. Experience with Military Specifications and Standards is preferred but not necessary.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including order placement, tracking, and receiving.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements related to military specification materials.
Strong attention to detail.
Fast learner with excellent communication skills.
Background and reference checks will be conducted. Ethics is part of annual performance appraisals. Hourly rate.
Qualifications
Operational knowledge of and practical use of the Odoo ERP suite with a focus on purchasing.
Familiarization with government buying and purchasing is desired, but not necessary.
Ability to handle and view Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) as well as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) controlled information.
