Office Administrator Opportunity with Traylor Brothers!
Traylor Bros., Inc. (TBI) National Heavy Civil division provides comprehensive, cutting-edge heavy civil/underground construction services through traditional and non-traditional delivery methods. TBI has completed more than 135 complex bridge construction and rehabilitation projects across the nation, including world record cable-stayed structures and segmental bridges. Position Summary:
Directs general business operations of the project’s administrative functions and administrative personnel.
Required Skills
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Inputs Vendor Pay requests and Processes invoices
Inputs Union Craft Personnel Daily hours and ensure accuracy of payroll
Perform work directly related to assist in running the project office include finance, accounting, budgeting, computer network, insurance, purchasing, advertising, safety, human resources, and similar activities
Process invoices from Vendors, and Subcontractors
Assist in hiring and onboarding process
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to work well in a non-structured environment
Demonstrates the ability and behavior necessary to lead others in accomplishing individual and team goals
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management
Strong organizational skills
Strong oral and spoken communication skills
Business-oriented, strategic mindset
Education/Experience
BA/BS in Business, Management Science, or related study
Minimum 5 years office administration experience
Experience with payroll and accounting
Physical Demands
Travel will be required to attend training and meetings
Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift
Occasionally required to stoop, bend, walk, crouch, and climb
Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 50 pounds
Ability to speak, write, and understand English clearly
