Full Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Office Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and data entry tasks in our St. Thomas office.

Accounting Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities:

Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department and executive team

Prepare, quotations, invoices, and customer statements on a timely basis

Respond to customer inquiries and contact customers for payment resolution

Run periodic customer statements and aging reports

Record and reconcile customer payments. Resolve payment discrepancies.

Ability to maintain filing system and recordkeeping tasks

Requirements:

Type accurately with competency in MS Excel and Word

Data entry and word processing skills

Well-organized with accuracy and attention to detail

Aptitude for numbers and basic accounting procedures and bookkeeping skills

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and a team-player who works well with customers, staff, and executives

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma, Associate Degree or relevant certification in Accounting or Business Administration is a plus, commensurate with a minimum of 5 years work experience in office, accounting and data entry field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
