Position: Office Administrator / Export Assistant
Perform basic administrative work such as emailing, answering a phone, and faxing.
Proof shipping documents against shipping instructions and give instructions to forwarders and / or shippers
Issue invoices and other required documents using the company system by entering data from the shipping documents.
Communicate with overseas offices and business partners such as suppliers, forwarders, shipping companies, as well as agents regarding shipping needs from the clients.
Assist with Accounting-related tasks including General Ledger, data entries using MS Dynamics GP, and balance sheets.
Handle discrepancy notices or other banking related cases for payment / documents / Letter of Credit status.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Fluency in Japanese – Professional Working to Native Level is a big plus.
1+ year of office related experience desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
Ability to perform under fast paced work environment and with deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and critical thinking skills.
Ability to follow directions precisely and pay attention to details.
Multitasking, organizational, and detail oriented.
