Full Job Description
Homewatch CareGivers is seeking an Administrator/Scheduler at our Livermore location. Homewatch CareGivers provides personalized in-home care to support our clients’ unique needs. As an Administrator/Scheduler, you will direct, administer, and coordinate the business activities; you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. And you are responsible for developing and maintaining the schedules of company employees, all of whom work flexible shifts. scheduling caregiver engagements, and direct client contact regarding schedules and changes of those schedules. Scheduler will develop knowledge of individual employee’s availability and skill level in order to match them appropriately with clients. Other duties include using administrative skills and responding to clients and potential clients. Responsibilities:
. Answering office phone
· Oversee client care plans to ensure they are complete, accurate and up to date
. Matching client schedules with compatible caregivers
. Assuring that the schedule is current and up to date at any given time
· Ensure policy and procedure compliance
· Oversee all training including orientation, case orientation, and ongoing training
· Manage client, caregiver, and outside care collaborator relations
· Direct care supervision
· Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
· Be available on-call as needed
. Office and clerical activities as directed
. Input of information into computer systems
. Support and participate in the hiring process of new employees
. Support and assist other office staff as needed
. Fill in for caregivers when there is no one else available
. On call responsibilities
· Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
· 5+ years supervisory or administrative experience
· Ability to solve problems quickly and independently
· Understanding of the statutory and administrative rules of the state’s regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance within the agency
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· 1+ years Microsoft Word, Excel or similar experience
· Ability to pass all background screening
· 1+ years Home Care experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
