Our journey began in the interdisciplinary labs of Peking University, where our founding team collaborated with leaders in biological imaging and scientific discovery. Currently we’re building a strong European presence. To support our growing team, we’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Office Administrator / Allrounder who’s excited to grow with us and help shape the company culture.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to person for a wide range of support tasks. Your day-to-day may include:
Administrative support: Scheduling meetings, preparing documents, handling correspondence
Travel planning: Booking flights, hotels, itineraries for our local and international teams
Stock & order management: Keep track of demo systems, accessories, spare parts and office supplies
Event support: Organize team meetings, company events, and customer visits
Sales & marketing assistance: Help organize campaigns, support CRM tasks, follow up on leads
Customs & Logistics: Coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments (domestic and international), handle documentation for customs clearance, freight forwarders, and delivery tracking
Executive Assistance: Provide high-level support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, correspondence, and task coordination
Communication: Act as a liaison between our German and Chinese teams (Chinese language a big plus!)
Who You Are
Organized and solution-oriented, with a “nothing too small” mindset
Comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with MS Office 365 and digital tools
Fluent in English, German is a strong plus, and Chinese (Mandarin) is a big bonus
You bring a hands-on, startup-friendly attitude and are willing to grow into new responsibilities
Nice to Have
Experience in a startup or fast-paced office environment
Familiarity with CRM systems or event planning
Background in biology, life sciences, or microscopy is a strong advantage
