Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
– Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
– Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
– Assist with file organization and document management
– Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
– Manage office supplies and place orders as needed
– Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
– Transcribe meeting notes and other important documents
– Utilize computerized systems for order entry and tracking
Requirements:
– Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and proofreading
– Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
– Strong clerical skills, including filing, organizing, and maintaining records
– Ability to transcribe information accurately and efficiently
– Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
