Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support, managing phone systems, maintaining accounting records, and assisting with various office tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be proficient in using office software and equipment.

Responsibilities:

– Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members.

– Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information.

– Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

– Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

– Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.

– Assist with bookkeeping tasks using accounting software.

– Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.

– Provide general administrative support to staff members.

– Ensure phone etiquette is maintained at all times.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role.

– Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

– Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment.

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Knowledge of QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour
