Job Opportunity: Front Desk Reception at Busy Marina

Job Description:

Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the maritime industry? We are seeking a Front Desk Receptioniest to join our bustling marina team. In this dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face of our marina, managing front desk operations and providing crucial administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, providing accurate information and assistance.
Manage incoming and outgoing emails, responding promptly and effectively.
Prepare estimates for marina services and communicate them to clients.
Assemble the necessary paperwork for clients arriving at the marina, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Create and organize folders and invoices for vessels departing the marina.
Collaborate with marina staff to coordinate client services and ensure seamless departures.
Monitor and maintain vendor records, ensuring up-to-date marine insurance and fee payments.
Assist in maintaining a tidy and organized front desk and office area.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by marina management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
Experience with the Software “Dock Master” is a plus.
Previous experience in a front desk reception or administrative role preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English is a plus.
Knowledge of marine insurance and terminology is an advantage.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-oriented mindset.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.

Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
