Assistant Administrative Operations Manager

Position Title:Assistant Administrative Operations Manager

Reports to:Administrative Operations Manager

Responsibilities

Participates in oversight of new employee orientation inclusive of cashier & applicable position training, audits and all concessions, catering, and retail cash procedures in relation to cash management or as delegated by direct report.

Communicates quickly and effectively with SSA HQ Team, Director of Audits and Controls, Revenue Reporting Manager, and Management team onsite.

Remains knowledgeable of and supervises in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.

Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.

Uphold and demonstrate a working knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.

Assist employees with day-to-day needs (i.e., uniform/badge replacements, paycheck inquiries, resetting Toast logins, etc.).

Help grow retention/engagement programs in unit.

Recruit & hire for new talent, onboard and train new team members.

Assist in the planning of staff socials/volunteer outings/all-staff meetings

Uphold compliance with State and Federal law, including but not limited to paperwork compliance and labor laws (including updated postings of labor law posters) – maintain knowledge through proactive research and utilizing resources at HQ as necessary

General upkeep of the People office (organization of filing cabinets, maintain copies of all applicable forms, maintain badge supplies, timely filing, locking the filing cabinet/logging off the computer each night).

Maintains a secure and safe cash room, managing limited access to only approved personnel by the GM of the location.

Issue and check-in banks, ensuring sufficient paperwork and daily closing sheets are turned in.

Manage cash pick-ups, change orders, counting of daily receipts, pulling/closing banks, and resolving discrepancies.

Contact vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies, shortages, over shipments or to arrange for emergency shipments or requisitions.

Ensures all HQ reporting and daily cash office operations are overseen and met by Cash Manager and office team.

Responsible for supporting all major reporting including, but not limited to the Gross Sales Report, OFR, Trial Balance Reports, and Sales by Stand.

Support implementation of operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission, business needs, client & SSA expectations.
